The Workshop will bring forest ecologists from around the world to share ideas and knowledge on forest ecosystems in North America. The ecological backdrop of the 7th NAFEW will be the semiarid and montane forests of North America's Interior West. The program will feature four days of oral presentations - with a midworkshop ½ day break for field trips consisting of invited speakers and volunteer presentations and posters. We invite prospective participants to submit oral and/or poster presentations for the 7th NAFEW. Prospective presenters must complete the template for automated abstract submission no later than January 30, 2009.

Comme tous les deux ans le NAFEW va réunir des étudiants du CEF sous le même toit. Pour les gens intéressés je me propose de tenir a jour une liste des personnes allant au NAFEW et qui voudraient limiter les frais en partageant une chambre. De plus le Mercredi, je vais aller a Yellowstone et Grand Téton, il y a trois places dans la voiture, prix 10$ + gaz, le 10$ comprend l'entrée aux deux parcs.

Grand Téton - Yellowstone
Petite excursion pour ceux qui n'ont pas d'intérêts pour celles proposées. Le départ se fera très tôt (6h00) pour profiter du soleil levant, amateur de photos penser a votre caméra, sur la route panoramique. 3 places disponibles, 10$ + essence par personnes (inclus les frais d'entrée au parcs).
- 6 a.m. Depart Logan
- 8 a.m. Wasatch-Cache National Forest Road et Logan Canyon
- 10 a.m. Bear Lake
- 12 a.m. Tour D'Europe: Montpelier, Geneve, Etna (3000 km !).
- 2 p.m. Grand Téton
- 4 p.m. Yellowstone
- 5 p.m. Grand Prismatic et Old faithful
- 7 p.m. Coucher de Soleil sur le Grand Téton
- 11 p.m. Logan
