THÈMES DE RECHERCHE

Mes intérêts de recherche portent sur les dimensions participatives de la gestion des ressources naturelles, avec une attention particulière pour les régions nordiques. À travers l’étude comparative du cadre de gestion de la forêt boréale dans divers milieux, je me suis intéressée à l’évolution de la gouvernance, y compris la décentralisation, la participation du public et la conciliation des divers systèmes de connaissances. Par mes projets de recherches, je travaille avec des communautés autochtones et non-autochtones au Canada et en Scandinavie. Je collabore également à une recherche comparative qui interroge les transformations dans les économies rurales en questionnant notamment les relations entre les communautés rurales et l’environnement naturel. Je travaille principalement avec des méthodes qualitatives.
